Here’s the question we hear most: “It’s beautiful, but can I actually listen to it?” The answer is yes — and if you want, it can also stream from your phone.
Want the vintage look with modern convenience? The Sony Walkman WM-EX610 Cassette Frame is our most popular restored player.
Yes, Vintage Players Can Go Bluetooth
Every restored player in our studio can be fitted with a discreet Bluetooth module before shipping. The upgrade is subtle: the player keeps its original look and controls, and you gain a wireless connection to your phone, tablet, or laptop.
How It Works
We fit a compact Bluetooth receiver inside the player’s shell, wired so the original audio path stays intact. You get the best of both worlds:

- Cassettes still play. The mechanism is untouched — pop in a tape and it works exactly as it did in 1990.
- Streaming just works. Pair your phone, press play, and music comes out of the vintage player.
- Nothing looks different. The module is hidden inside; the face keeps its honest, original character.
Why It’s Worth It
A framed player with Bluetooth isn’t just decor — it’s a working speaker with a story. Guests see a piece of music history; they hear your playlist coming out of it. For gifts, it’s the detail that makes the piece feel truly useful, not just nostalgic.
Which Pieces Can Be Upgraded?
Any player we restore can be fitted with Bluetooth on request — from the slim Sony Walkman WM-EX1 to the classic WM-EX610, and CD players like the Discman D-225CR.

If you have a specific player in mind — or your own player you’d like restored and upgraded — contact us before ordering and we’ll set it up. Otherwise, browse the collection and mention Bluetooth at checkout.
