Framed Sony Walkman WM-EX610 – Restored & Fully Playable Cassette Player Wall Art
Ask any vintage audio collector to name a Walkman they remember at a glance, and the WM-EX610 is usually the answer. It was Sony’s mid-90s design statement: clean lines, a slim profile and a distinctive factory colourway that turns a shelf into a talking point.
Ours has been hand-restored and test-played, so it plays exactly as it did in the 90s — and looks the part on the wall.
Both are fully playable cassette frames, but they have different personalities. The WM-EX622 is one of the thinnest Walkmans Sony ever made — a piece of engineering. The WM-EX610 is the colourful statement piece, the one people notice from across the room. If you love the mechanism, choose the EX-622. If you want the wall art people ask about, choose the EX-610.
Presented in a solid wood frame with a clear display window. It looks incredible on a white wall, above a desk, or next to a record player. The frame opens, so you can slide the player out and use it whenever the mood takes you.
The style-conscious music lover who already has enough black boxes. The person whose home is curated and colour-aware. Anyone who wants a gift that gets noticed the moment someone walks in.
We can add Bluetooth on request so it streams from a phone too, while keeping the tape deck fully functional.
Free tracked shipping worldwide. 15-day returns cover. Gift-ready packaging included.
