Framed Sony Walkman WM-EX77 – Restored & Fully Playable Cassette Player Wall Art

The classic Walkman, perfected

Some Walkmans were experiments. The WM-EX77 was built on the WM-EX677 — the 1991 model that brought Mega Bass and full-range Dolby B noise reduction to the pocket Walkman. It is the model people picture when they hear the word Walkman: slim, dependable, beautifully made, and built for the everyday ritual of pressing play on a favourite tape.

This unit has been hand-restored and test-played in our studio, so it works the way it did when it was new.

What we do to every WM-EX77

• Fit fresh drive belts and service the transport
• Clean and align the tape heads
• Rebuild and lubricate the mechanism
• Refresh the case and controls
• Test-play hours of music before it ships

Framed as wall art, ready to hang
