Framed Sony Discman D-225CR CD Player – Restored & Fully Playable Wall Art

The sound of your first CD

The D-225CR is an 80s Discman with the warm, slightly analog feel of early digital audio — the machine that made skipping tracks feel like magic. It’s the model that turns a grown adult into a teenager again the moment a CD starts spinning.

This one is hand-restored and test-played, so it plays your discs the way it did in the 1980s.

What we do to every D-225CR

• Clean and align the laser lens
• Strip and clean the disc mechanism
• Replace worn parts and refresh the case
• Service the controls and output
• Test-play a full disc, start to finish

Framed as wall art, ready to hang

Set in a solid wood frame with a display window. Perfect next to a record collection, in a home office, or as the centerpiece of a music room.
